skibigsky's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kind of a blah day There has been a slight snag in the whole radio thing. For example, last evening after tennis, I got home, and I radioed Tennis Pro. Well, he didn’t have his radio on, so I had to call him. To tell him to turn on his radio. tee hee! But it’s the thought that counts, right? Nothing else exciting. I decided to go ahead and get those GS skis I was talking about yesterday. After talking with Tennis Pro, and then this other guy that I know who runs a lot of gates, they convinced me that the ski would be wonderful, and would not be ‘too much’ for me. So, I called my boss (the one through the ski company – not the Psycho Bosses), and told him that I would be keeping the GS skis for myself. Which basically means that I don’t have to pay him for them until the end of the season, or until I get some money – which ever I prefer. I am excited about it – I think these will do some good things for my skiing. Which is good, because I see that I have dropped in the Nastar rankings. Damn. In other news, the job hunt is not going so well. I have applied for several things, but I haven’t even been called in for interviews. I have a feeling that I am over-qualified for some things, and under-qualified for others. Which really sort of sucks. So, I am going to have to keep chugging away, and looking for jobs until something materializes. Bleah. Just sort of a blah day. I don’t want to be at work, but that is nothing new. I don’t get to go skiing until Friday, and I have to deal with Psycho Boss Major today. Yuck. Maybe I’ll have something more exciting to post tomorrow. (Or maybe after Friday when I get my new GS skis mounted!) I’ll just have to amuse myself with half-naked pictures of Stephan Eberharter. Who has been dominating in the world championships at St. Moritz so far.
