skibigsky's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two days in the life of an autocrosser Oh man. What a long weekend. Yesterday was From Hell (I lost the transmission in the Mini, the RV had a small electrical fire, and Mr. V. broke his thumb). Today was exciting, although a little tough for me (racing with my co-driver's car was a little hard as it is a totally different car, despite being a 2006 Mini - ours is a 2007), but all the ski racing (and other) friends came out, some of them raced, and all of them had a ball. And while I'm disappointed in today's results (mine, that is), I shouldn't be. Rather than being 5-7 seconds out from my closest competition, I am only 2-3 seconds out. I am improving. I just wanted to improve even more today! More on all of this later.
